Parent-facing apps for feeding children with autism exist in abundance. Quality does not. Our analyses of the landscape, and the prototypes we tested with families, keep pointing to the same gaps: cultural fit, offline use, and respect for caregiver time.
Bandwidth, language, and trust are not edge cases. They are the product. Low-fidelity first, then high-fidelity only after a parent can complete the core task without us in the room.
